NC, Congress not interested to empower Panchayats: Jugal

JAMMU, Oct 1: Member Parliament from Jammu -Poonch, Lok Sabha Constituency and senior BJP leader, Jugal Kishore Sharma today visited Jindrah and adjoining areas in Nagrota Constituency and took stock of development works there.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing the gathering said that Modi Government has announced Urban Local Bodies and Panchayat elections in J&K State and people should now be ready for these elections. He said that B J P is the largest party and by holding Panchayat elections every corner of the State will witness development.
BJP Government will empower Panchayats for “own fund generation” which will include building permission, fee, taxes on entertainment, advertisement, hoardings, various kinds of businesses and professions to held their own development in future times.
Jugal attacked National Conference (NC) for boycotting the ULB and Panchayat elections. He said this shows that the NC is not in favour of developing the democracy at grass root level. He said that under the garb of Article 35A NC and other Kashmir centric parties are misleading the people and by doing dirty politics they have shown their real face now.
Jugal appraised the people about the Centrally Sponsored Schemes and said the demand of Examination Hall in GHSS Jindrah was raised by people and the same has been met. Now the hall is ready for students. Moreover, he also said that number of development works have been sanctioned by Central Government by means of PMGSY,CRF & More. He appealed people to take part in Panchayat elections effectively to elect BJP supported candidates for their total development.
Nand Kishore Sharma, senior BJP leader and Anil Sharma Tony, Ex-Sarpanch & incharge BJP Panchayati Cell assured MP that they will not leave any stone unturned to ensure that Lotus blooms in Jindrah Panchayat.
Senior BJP leaders Uttam Singh, Puran Singh,Ganga Dutt Sharma, Balwant Singh,Som Dutt,Capt Nasib Singh, Bishan Singh, Purshottam Singh, Meshu Ram, Mansa Ram, Chaman Singh, Purshottam Singh, Mani Ram, Jagdish Chander, Pankaj, Guggu, Sunil Kumar, Vikas, Mantu, Sardari Lal and others also were present on the occasion.
