JAMMU, May 1: “After sowing seeds of hatred and divisive politics from sixties and propagating the same by way of tacitly supporting terrorism and forcing exodus of Kashmiri Pandits, Farooq Abdullah today is giving sermons on dismantling walls of hatred.”
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Minister Bali Bhagat in a statement issued here today.
The senior BJP leader said that Farooq Abdullah, who was the founder member of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), has done the biggest sin by forcing around 4 lakh KPs to leave the Valley in 1989 which was result of his hidden agenda for which he was condemned by several nations of the world as he was the Chief Minister of the erstwhile State of J&K.
“It is unbelievable that ‘supporter’ of Islamic Jihad and creator of fissures between Hindus and Muslims at that time after becoming redundant in today’s politics has changed colour like chameleon and is advocating for harmony today”, Bali Bhagat said, adding that the NC leader has contributed a lot in spoiling the image of country in the past. He said that Farooq, who is desperately longing for a political refuge today was once the top stooge of Pakistan and used to dance on the tunes of that nation.
The former Minister said that it was Farooq Abdullah, under whose very regime Kashmir witnessed threats, rapes, selective killings and when the entire Valley was burning he left the place like a coward and flew to London, letting down the Kashmiri people.
Accusing Farooq of instigating people of Jammu on the line of Valley to bring unrest here, Bali said that people here are quite smart and they know the intentions behind the ploy very well.
“What Farooq is saying in Jammu is something totally different from what he professes in Valley thus exposing his duplicity among the people of both the regions as the days of befooling masses have gone and now each and every person knows the motive of such politicians who earlier used to encash their lies and deceitful tactics with great ease”, he maintained.
