NC dis-empowering Kashmiris: Lone

Srinagar, Nov 8: Chairman People’s Conference Sajad Gani Lone said the ruling National Conference is exploiting and disempowering people of Kashmir on both political and economical fronts for its own political gains.
While addressing a party convention at Soibug in Budgam district today, Lone said that the people of the state undoubtedly deserve a change in the present political system to get rid of the administrative injustice and the misgovernance by the traditional political parties of the state.
Expressing his dismay over the pathetic condition of Budgam on the developmental front, Lone said it was apparent that the constant Governments by the traditional parties have adopted step-motherly attitude towards this beautiful part of the Valley, which otherwise is not any less important than any other part of the region.
He said people of the Budgam have been suppressed politically by and the NC and PDP Governments have deprived them of livelihood and employment opportunities.
The senior leader present at the convention were Vice Chairman  Muhammad Kamal Malik, general secretary Rashid Mehmood, District president Badgam Firdous Ahmad Farash,  Dawood Lodhi, sheikh Qawam-ud-din Shilwati, and Mir Bhatwani and Constituency head Ali Muhammad Dar, vice constituency head Abdul Rashid Dar and Nazir Ratanpori.
