PULWAMA, Nov 1: National Conference (NC) district president Pulwama Ghulam Nabi Niloora today resigned from his post after he was not nominated as party candidate for Rajpora Assembly Constituency in South Kashmir Pulwama district.
Niloora has decided to contest the election as an independent candidate from the Rajpora Constituency.
“NC has ignored the sacrifices that my family has made for the party and denying mandate to me means humiliation to my family”, said Niloora while addressing his workers.
Niloora said that six years since he was appointed as district president, he served the party with spirit, valour and vaguer.
His resignation was followed by mass resignations by the party workers who have decided to support Ghulam Nabi Niloora.
