NC emerging as preferred choice of people: Rattan Lal

JAMMU, Sept 1: In a significant political development, Dr Subhash Chander Sharma retired Professor, social activist and leader of PoK refugees and Sunil Sharma  senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and popular social activist, have joined the National Conference (NC) during a programme held at party office here today.
Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial president of NC, extended warm welcome to both of them into the party fold. The joining programme was organized by Rakesh Singh Raka vice president Central Zone and Tejinder Singh district president Jammu Urban, YNC.
In his address, Rattan Lal Gupta underscored the surging momentum of the National Conference throughout Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted that the party is increasingly emerging as the preferred choice among the region’s electorate, a testament to its growing appeal and the trust it commands from the public.
The senior NC leader emphasized that the NC’s commitment to addressing the concerns and aspirations of the people is resonating deeply across various communities. He asserted that the party’s vision and policies are aligning with the needs and hopes of the residents, positioning NC as a beacon of positive change.
Rattan Lal confidently stated that only the National Conference possesses the capability and determination to guarantee a brighter and more prosperous future for Jammu & Kashmir, promising enhanced development and progress under its leadership.
Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, NC’s Provincial secretary underscored the party’s core values of secularism. He assured the public that the National Conference continues to stand firmly as a secular party, committed to upholding the principles of unity and inclusiveness.
Vijay Lochan, Chairman of the JKNC SC Cell, spoke about the party’s unwavering commitment to protecting the rights of weaker sections of society. He assured that the National Conference remains steadfast in its mission to advocate for and uphold the rights of marginalized communities.
Both the new entrants said that they were impressed by the progressive developmental and pro- people Manifesto of NC for the forthcoming Assembly elections.
