NC expresses concern over spike in COVID-19 cases

BANIHAL, Apr 28: Demanding improvement in health sector to tackle any exigency in district Ramban in view of surge in COVID-19 cases, National Conference (NC) district Ramban president, Sajjad Shaheen on Wednesday claimed that entire Ramban lacks advance health care facilities.
He further said that there is inadequate infrastructure in District Hospital Ramban, Sub-District Hospital Banihal, PHCs Ukharhal and other sub centers in Banihal constituency.
The NC leader urged upon the administration to take steps to improve health care facilities in all the hospitals of Ramban.
Expressing serious concern over steep surge in COVID-19 cases during the deadly second wave in J&K particularly in Ramban in the last few weeks, Shaheen demanded setting up of a full-fledged emergency COVID-19 hospital in Banihal with adequate facilities.
He appealed to the people to follow the guidelines laid by the administration like wearing masks and maintaining physical distancing.
He urged every eligible person to take COVID-19 vaccine without any hesitation.
