JAMMU, Dec 31: Sat Sharma, President, J&K BJP today asked the party MLAs to take cognizance of the complete failure of the NC Government on the ground, leading to the state of chaos in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
Sat Sharma was addressing a party workers meeting, held in Jammu.
Ashok Koul, General Secretary (organization) and Sunil Sharma, Leader of Opposition also addressed the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said that NC Government befooled the voters of Jammu & Kashmir and especially the Kashmir region, from where they gained the massive mandate in the recent Assembly elections by making false promises in their manifesto.
“J&K residents are feeling cheated due to the failed hollow promises of NC. Instead of ensuring increased performance of public offices, it is concentrating on running a media-show. Its actions like Suspension policy are adding to the woes of common masses,” he said.
“The people of J&K have given a strong mandate to the BJP with the highest vote share in the recent Assembly elections. We have a strong voice of our 28 MLAs in the J&K Assembly presently. BJP means an assurance to the people of J&K that their every issue would be taken forcefully both within the Assembly and outside on the roads,” he added.
Ashok Koul, in his address, discussed in detail the present development and political situation in extensive discussions with the party’s MLAs.
He asked the party MLAs to keep a close vigil on all the developments and counter the subversive agenda of NC Government which is hell-bent to derail the development process in J&K.
MLA Sunil Sharma said that the Jammu region is once again feeling neglected under the NC rule and advised the NC Government to deliver to their poll promises and cater to the aspirations of the people from both the regions.
