* Budhal has decided to punish exploiters: Javed

RAJOURI, Sept 14: Exuding full confidence in the formation of National Conference-Congress Government after the ongoing elections, senior party (NC) leader and Member of Parliament, Mian Altaf Ahmed today assured people of the regularisation of land rights.
Addressing largely attended election rallies in favour of NC nominee Javed Iqbal Choudhary at Khawas and Peeri in Budhal constituency, Mian Altaf said over the last 10 years the BJP regime has tried to render lacs of people in Jammu and Kashmir landless. He said soon after National Conference comes to power, the new government shall regularise the land rights wherever people have been affected.
He said last six years saw BJP regime’s assault on land rights of people in both rural and urban areas. This has created uncertainty over dwelling which is the most basic human right
The NC MP pointed out that people of Jammu and Kashmir can never forget New Delhi’s unilateral decisions of abrogating Article 370 & 35A and downgrade of a historic State to a Union Territory. In the ongoing elections people are all set to convey to the BJP through the power of their vote that downgrade of State to the Union Territory is a blot on the Indian federal constitutional system, Altaf said.
He alleged that the BJP regime spent crores of rupees on false advertisements about their achievements such as Forest Rights Act but nothing was delivered on the ground. These elections are first major opportunity before people to have their own elected government restored and then there a long struggle for restoration of our collective rights the BJP snatched, he added.
Altaf said that the NC nominee for Budhal constituency Javed Iqbal Choudhary is a true grassroots leader who has risen from the level of Sarpanch to stand for the Assembly. Javed has been instrumental in social and political and political transformation in Budhal constituency by way of hard work and dedication, Altaf added.
Javed Choudhary said that since the passing away of father in 2028 for want of medical access and road connectivity he decided that no one’s father should due like that I made this commitment to myself while laying my father in grave that will have to dedicate my wife to the public to bring them out from the politics of exploitation and bring to their doorsteps the facilities their deserve
Hitting out at his BJP rival he said, Choudhary Zulfkar has been an MLA twice and powerful cabinet minister once but he has to change parties very frequently. This is the 5th party Zulfkar has shifted to in last 25 years. When people rejected him back to back thrice in Panchayat elections, BDC and DDC elections, Zulfkar quit the Apni Party and ran to BJP for last refuge.
Baji Mian Mohammad Aslam, Mian Abdul Wahid and dozens of other prominent people attended the meeting.
