NC holds workers’ meet

KATHUA, Feb 13: A workers meeting was organized by the Coordination Committee of Kathua District (Rural-B), Central Zone NC at Hiranagar.
NC Zonal president, Babu Ram Paul was chief guest and Sham Narayan Mehta, District NC president Kathua (Rural-B) presided over the meeting.
The meeting was organized by Sham Lal Mehra, vice-president Central Zone NC and was addressed by Surjeet Singh Manhas, Provincial joint secretary NC, Dr. Vikas Sharma, Bharat Bhushan, Chander Udhay Singh, S. Surjit Singh Sassan, B.D Dalotra (all Zonal secretaries) and Prem Kumar Verma, block president Hirganagar.
Speaking on the occasion Babu Rampaul said that NC stand committed for secularism and social equality.
He said NC has a legacy of serving the poor and weaker sections of the society which was started by Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah.
“Various employment schemes like Rehbar-e-Talim, Rehbar-e-Khel, Rehbar-e-Zirat etc were launched by the NC government,” the NC leader maintained.
On this occasion many delegations met Babu Rampaul and assured full support to NC.
Rampaul listened to their problems and assured to take the grievance with concerned authorities.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Dr. Y.P Singh, Yashpaul, Ashu Rajput, Prem Singh Andotra, S. Harjeet Singh and other.
