BANIHAL, Nov 19: National Conference (NC) district president Ramban, Mir Sajjad Shaheen has expressed serious concern over frequent blockade of Sangaldan-Gool road due to continuous landslide and sinking of a portion of road at Chapran, Harog since last many weeks.
During his day long tour to Bajmasta, Sumar, Harog and Sangaldan, Shaheen met various individuals and deputations who apprised him about their day today problems.
Shaheen while interacting with the locals assured them that their problems will be taken up with the concerned authorities for immediate redressal.
He said that blockade of the only road linking entire sub-division Gool with rest of the district has badly impacted the mobility and added to the miseries of the people.
The NC leader also visited the spot of landslide and Chapran and brought the matter in notice of the management of BRO.
He emphasized upon the administration and the concerned agencies to formulate a comprehensive plan for construction of a permanent bridge at the sinking portion at Chapran as people are facing enormous problems due to frequent closure of the road.
Shaheen has also expressed deep concern over the power crisis in peripheral areas particularly Khari, Trigam, Mahu-Mangit, Sarachi and other areas.
