NC leader ‘resigns’

Srinagar July 31: The National Conference leader, Iftikhar Misgar, who recently contested elections from Anantnag Assembly segment against Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, today made a public appearance in his home town and raised anti-India slogans and resigned from National Conference.
“I have already given up security and today I want to announce publicly that I don’t need any security. People’ security is what I need”, Misgar said while addressing a gathering in Anantnag town.
The NC leader raised anti-India slogans and said that pro-India people are traitors. However, family sources said that it was done under duress.
