JAMMU, May 1: A delegation of National Conference (NC) Minority Cell led by its president, M K Yogi called on newly appointed Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (Migrants), T K Bhat here, today.
The delegation apprised him about the burning problems of the community which included simplification of bifurcation system, supply of relief and ration before 10th of every month, conversion and construction of two room tenements at erstwhile Purkhoo Camp, construction of boundary wall at Jagti township, construction of stadium for the children, simplification of rules, making Jagti hospital functional fully, issuance of RBA certificates to migrants and compensation to over aged youth of the community.
Later, arrangements for upcoming Mata Kheer Bhawani yatra were discussed in detail for providing proper transportation and accommodation to all the pilgrims for yatra.
T K Bhat said that he will try his utmost to redress all the problems.
B L Bhat ex- MLC , Bal Krishan Bhat vice president, OF the Cell, Pinky Bhat woman wing president, P L Talashi, Rajnath Fotedar, Harmendar Singh and other workers from camp and non camp accompanied the delegation.
