NC Minority Cell delegation calls on RCM

JAMMU, Oct 20: President Minority Wing National Conference, M K Yogi held a meeting with Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner Migrants, A. K. Pandita along with Col. Raina (retd), B K Jalali, Bittoo Ji, M K Bhat and Ashwani Bhat and discussed issues of Displaced Kashmiri Pandits including PM package employees with him.
The delegation expressed concern over the security of package employees due prevailing situation in the Valley after selective and targeted killings of minorities and other non locals during last few weeks.
It demanded accommodation for PM package employees living on rent basis out side transit camps in Kashmir , enhancement of cash assistance from Rupees 13000 to Rupees 25000 per month in view of hike in essential commodities , construction of stadium for youth of Jagti townships and allowing Mata Saraswati Pushtakalya to operate and function with proper terms and conditions at Jagti for sake of students.
Pandita assured the delegation that all these genuine issues will be taken up with concerned departments at the earliest for their resolution.
