NC Minority Cell delegation calls on RRC

JAMMU, Feb 6: A delegation of Kashmiri Migrants led by M K Yogi president, National Conference (NC) Minority Cell called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, M L Raina here, today and discussed the problems of displaced people living in various camps with him.
Yogi demanded blacktopping of camp roads, construction of eight to 10 tube wells and water pumps for drinking water purposes to solve the water crisis in the camps, providing of fool proof security in camps, early tendering for renovation works and opening of examination centers in camp schools etc.
Yogi also demanded early start up of the work on Jagti Stadium for which funds have been already released. He said this will help in promotion of sports activities among youth and children in the camp.
Raina informed the delegation that in some cases action has already been initiated while the other problems will also be taken into consideration for settlement soon.
Bal Krishan Bhat, Amit Koul, Naveen Gosani, Rajinder Dhar, Ashish, Mukesh and others were also present in the meeting.
