NC Minority Cell discusses Migrants’ problems with Beg

JAMMU, Dec 3: A delegation of Minority Cell of National Conference (NC) led by former Chief Secretary and MLC Vijay Bakaya called on Member Parliament, Dr Mehboob Beg here today and discussed various organizational matters and issues pertaining to displaced people from Valley with him.
The delegation appealed the MP to take up the issues with the Government for their speedy redressal.
The main issues discussed by the delegation with Dr Beg included passage of Shrines and Temples Bill, enhancement of cash relief, implementation of PM’s employment package in letter and spirit by launching the process for filling up of remaining over 4000 posts, allotment of quarters to migrants putting up in rented accommodations, bettering facilities in TRTs especially in Jagti township with restoring work on hospital there, construction of more shops at Jagti and other TRTs, besides settling of other problems.
Dr Beg assured the delegation that he will take up these issues with the Government.
The other members of the delegation included M K Yogi working president of the Minority Cell, Jigan Ji Goja, Karan Choudhary, S N Dhar, Pinky Bhat, P L Talashi, Bal Ji etc.
The delegation also welcomed the appointment of Wasim Beg as provincial vice president Youth NC for Kashmir by the working president of the Party, Omar Abdullah.
