NC Minority Cell for construction of quarters for rented migrants

JAMMU, Feb 22: National Conference Minority Cell in its meeting held under the chairmanship of its working president M K Yogi demanded immediate implementation of PM’s package.
The meeting demanded construction of more quarters to accommodate the displaced Pandits putting up in rented accommodations and an appeal was made to Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah in this regard.
The meeting demanded redressal of problems of migrants of Jagti township by constructing shopping mal, completing work on hospital and providing other basic facilities.
The meeting demanded immediate payment of monthly relief and supply of ration. It expressed concern over non availability of ration. The meeting made an appeal to Revenue Relief and Rehabilitation, Minister to make available all basic commodities on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. It demanded a gazetted holiday on February 28 i.e Salam as has been a tradition.
The meeting complimented the Government including CM, Revenue Minister, Revenue Commissioner -Secretary and Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner in allotting quarters in a proper way.
Meanwhile another senior leader of the Cell Ashok Hangloo has also demanded that ration be supplied in migrant camps immediately besides other essential commodities be also be made available on Maha Shivratri.
