JAMMU, Mar 28: National Conference (NC) Minority Cell has launched a door to door campaign for the party candidates contesting elections from three constituencies of Kashmir Valley.
The Cell under the leadership of its president, M K Yogi during its meeting here today followed by door to door campaign asked the migrants putting up in various camps and non camp areas of Jammu to vote the party candidates from Srinagar, Anantnag and Baramulla Lok Sabha Constituencies for the strengthening of secular values in the State and unity of the three regions.
Yogi said the Cell will also assist the migrant voters regarding M Forms and performance of other formalities. He also appealed the migrants to participate in election process enmass and ensure victory of NC candidates on all three seats of Valley.
He said NC stood for secular values always as its founder leader, Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah championed the cause of secularism in the State and unity of its three regions despite diversity. He said the party is committed to this ideology and it always stood for the cause of displaced people from Valley.
Those who were present in the meeting included Dr Sheikh Aamina, P L Talashi, Abhay Bakaya, Harvidner Singh, B K Bhat, T K Koul, A K Bhat, Sanjay Dev, R K Koul, Sunil Kumar Baht and Umesh Talashi, Sarpanch.
