KATHUA, Dec 19: National Conference additional general secretary and former Minister, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today called for building a future that embraces diversity and ensures prosperity for all sections of society across Jammu and Kashmir.
Welcoming, Pardeep Singh Sarpanch of Lachipura Panchayat in the party fold at a function held at Lachipura in Kathua today, Sadhotra said such an atmosphere can only be created by the National Conference that stands committed to inclusive growth, development and progress of all the regions and sub-regions, irrespective of religion and caste.
He said that realization is fast dawning upon progressive, forward looking and peace-loving people to isolate divisive forces like the BJP and work for strengthening the bonds of amity and brotherhood in a pluralistic region of the country like, Jammu and Kashmir.
“The people are dejected with BJP for believing in politics of hate and understand that reactionary political pursuits can only lead to chaos and crisis, which the country is currently witnessing”, Sadhotra said.
Referring to the joining of scores of prominent persons along with Sarpanch Pardeep Singh into the party fold, Sadhotra said that National Conference is the only and natural choice for public spirited-activists because of its pro-people agenda, secular credentials and commitment to maintaining and preserving singular entity of Jammu and Kashmir.
