NC pays tributes to Bodh Raj Bali on his death anniversary

JAMMU, Apr 21:  Jammu and Kashmir National Conference today paid glowing tributes to former minister and senior party leader Bodh Raj Bali on his death anniversary, describing him as a leader par excellence who devoted all his life in service of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
In their messages, Provincial President Devender Singh Rana and former ministers Ajay Sadhotra and Surjeet Singh Slathia paid rich tributes to Bodh Raj Bali.
Leading the party cadre in paying floral tributes to Late  Bali, at a function held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan here this morning, the State vice president Rattan Lal Gupta highlighted the immense contribution of the veteran leader in the development and progress of Jammu and Kashmir.
“A leader of high political acumen and caliber, having passion for serving the people, especially poor and down-trodden,  Bodh Raj Bali has left an indelible mark on the political horizon of the State”, Gupta said while recalling his association with him for decades.
Paying his tributes, State vice president Thakur Kashmira Singh said the towering leader left an indelible mark on the National Conference cadre by dint of his determination and hard-work besides strengthening the party at grass root level and making it a vibrant force to satiate the urges and aspirations of the people.
Provincial secretary Sheikh Bashir Ahmed said that the veteran leader’s contribution in strengthening NC at the grass roots level in Jammu province remains high point of his political career.
Several other senior leaders, including Provincial vice presidents Vijay Laxmi Dutta, Ch Haroon and Anil Dhar.  Provincial president Women Wing,   Satwant Kour Dogra,  Dharamveer Singh Jamwal,   Pradeep Bali, S  Sucha Singh, Ashok Singh Manhas, Ashok Dogra, Col Rashid ( Retd), Rakesh Singh Raka,  Som Raj Taroch,   Sandeep Singh,  Tejinder Singh, Nitish Goswami and others paid tributes to Bodh Raj Bali.
