JAMMU, Oct 2: BJP conducted a strategic meeting for the Urban Local Bodies (ULB) in Ward No. 40, which was chaired by former Minister and MLA from the Jammu West Constituency, Sat Sharma. BJP State Media Incharge, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, BJP district president, Ayodhya Gupta, Neelam Nargotra, BJP’s candidate from Ward 40, Jaipal Sharma, president, Mohalla Committee also accompanied the MLA.
While addressing the meeting, Sat Sharma said that the youth of Jammu, see hope in the BJP and thus they are coming to the party fold. He emphasized that the people have stood witness to enough of false promises in past by many parties like Congress, NC, PDP and these political parties deliberately backstabbed Jammu every time.
Sharma said that due to dedicated efforts of Governor and Election Commission, base level elections are being conducted in the State, but NC and PDP are hell bent to sabotage the process. He said that the enthusiastic response from masses boosts our faith in the strong leadership of PM Modi. He appealed to the people of Jammu to vote heavily in favour of BJP candidates to boost development.
Ayodhya Gupta, welcomed the activists into the party fold and expressed confidence that these will work dedicatedly for strengthening the party at grass root level. While boasting of the development works done in the ward, he stressed that his priority will be to speed the development of the ward turning it into Model Ward.
Neelam Nargotra enumerated various development works undertaken on the behest of BJP in the Ward. Passionately appealing to all prominent people, she claimed that after being voted to power her whole thrust will be focussed to extend the reach of welfare schemes to the downtrodden masses in the Ward.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that only BJP has truly worked for the welfare of people, while other political parties exploited the nation. He said that “we must exercise our right to vote for the right person and the right party dedicated to the society and the nation.

On the occasion, Uttam Gupta and Mohit Gupta were nominated as the BJP’s district Working Committee members.
