Jammu, Nov 27: National Conference has strongly refuted the statement of  Harshdev Singh alleging violation of model code of conduct by Devender Singh Rana,  Political Advisor to the Chief Minister.
Rattan Lal Gupta, provincial president J&K National Conference said that on the date Harshdev Singh is referring to Devender Rana was in Poonch -Rajouri area and not in Doda.
He further said that the Political Advisor to the Chief Minister attended no meeting in the Doda Dak-bunglow during the current elections to the two seats of the Legislative Council. He said that far from using the red flasher light Mr Rana is using his own private vehicle for the campaign in the ensuing election from day one and the vehicle carries no light whatsoever on its hood.
Gupta condemned the statement of the National Panthers Party president and said that malicious, false, baseless and frivolous statements of the Panthers and its president has made them irrelevant in the political scape as also exposed them before the people of the State. He said Harshdev is habitual of making false sensational statements with the sole objective of misleading the people.
Gupta challenged Harshdev to either prove the allegations leveled by him against Devender Singh Rana or apologize if he has even an iota of political morality.
