JAMMU, June 9: National Conference (NC) Minority Cell in a meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of M K Yogi its president while highlighting various issues confronted to displaced Pandits however expressed its confidence over hike in relief for Kashmiri and Jammu migrants by Union Government.
This decision will ease out the problems of the relief holders who have no source of income except cash doles given by the Government to some extent.
Yogi, while highlighting the other demands of the displaced people stressed that on spot recruitment drive in police and para military forces be launched in migrant camps and non camp areas for those families who could not afford higher education and whose children are without job.
Yogi also expressed concern over the encroachment of land of Hindu shrines and other religious places in Valley and demanded that the same be restored immediately.
He also demanded soft loans for unemployed and over-aged community youth.
