JAMMU, Dec 22: Former minister and Zonal president of National Conference, Babu Rampaul today reiterated the resolve of NC leadership to provide ample job opportunities to unemployed youth and curtail inflation, as and when the party forms Government in J&K.
He was addressing a programme where scores of youth joined NC. The programme was organized under the leadership of NC Zonal secretary and Coordinator Jammu District (Urban), Dr Vikas Sharma.
Rampaul garlanded the new entrants and welcomed them into the party fold and asked them to work for strengthening the party in their area. He assured the youth that NC will not leave any stone unturned for the cause of unemployed youth. “NC has always worked for youth and its past rule in J&K is a testimony to that. But during the last 7 years our youth is suffering badly due to wrong policies of the dispensation,” he said.
The new entrants reposed faith in the leadership of Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah and vowed to strengthen NC at all levels.
Dr Vikas lashed out at Centre for playing with the future of youth by imposing ill-conceived policies on them. He also raised the issue of bungling in recruitment process and also pointed finger towards the ever increasing rate of fees in govt as well private educational institutions. He said only NC could take out J&K out of this mess and asked the people to support the NC leadership.
