‘NC will undo mess created by BJP in Municipal Bodies’

JAMMU, Aug 5: NC is determined to undo the mess created by BJP in Municipal Bodies of J&K through its victorious participation in upcoming elections of Urban Local Bodies (ULB).
This was said by NC leaders in a meeting of NC Jammu District Urban here today.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chander Mohan Sharma, president Jammu District Urban.
Sharma said that NC’s resolute mission is to restore good governance, transparency and integrity ensuring a corruption-free regime for the benefit of people.
He apprised senior functionaries of NC about hardships being faced by the people of Jammu city and said that people are deprived of basic amenities and Municipal Corporation has become a den of corruption.
Provincial NC president, Rattan Lal Gupta claimed that once NC wins ULB elections it will definitely eradicate corruption and promote transparency in the working of all Municipal bodies in J&K.
He asked the Party workers to leave no stone unturned to ensure NC’s unprecedented success in upcoming ULB polls.
Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, former minister and Central secretary highlighted the critical importance of the upcoming elections as an opportunity for NC to establish a corruption-free regime in Municipal Bodies.
Babu Rampaul, Central Zone president also spoke on the occasion.
Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Provincial secretary Jammu; Jugal Mahajan, Vijay Lochan and others were also present in the meeting.
