NC Women Wing protests against rising prices

JAMMU, Nov 8: Bimla Luthra, Vice President of National Conference Women Wing and Ex-MLA, organized a protest rally, here today, against the rising prices and deterioration of law and order situation in the Union Territory.
The protest rally was taken out from Sher-i-Kashmir Bhawan to Mandir Chowk, in which a number of NC women activists participated displaying banners against price rise and unemployment.
While addressing the rally, Bimla Luthra lambasted that BJP led Government for its failure to mitigate the problems of the people and maintain law and order. She said that rising prices is the major concern of the people particularly women folk.
“BJP led Government has miserably failed to contain price rise and provide jobs to the unemployed educated youth in the UT. They don’t even allow us to protest,” she alleged.
Others, who addressed the rally, included Vijay Laxami Dutta, Rashida Begum, Bharti, Pinki Khalsa, Jyoti, Savita, Rani, Rita, Nitu and Raj Rani.
