JAMMU, June 6: National Conference Students Union (NCSU) today organized a one- day convention at the University of Jammu and discussed current issues concerning the student community.
Speaking at the occasion NCSU provincial president Rakesh Chib urged the NCSU activists to work for the betterment of student community. He also highlighted various achievements of Omar Abdu-llah led Coalition Government in general and Youth friendly policies in particular.
He informed the students about Sher-e-Kashmir Youth Employment Programme, Udaan, Seed Capital Funds Schemes and Voluntary Services Allowance (VSA) schemes, Public Service Guarantee Act (PSGA) etc.
On the occasion, some students joined NCSU. They included Shakti Uppal (ex-city joint secretary ABVP), Varinder Singh Jamwal, Pardeep Bhagat, Dalvir Singh Chib, Ujwal Mahajan, Rahul Gupta, Shubham Singh Manhas, Ranjeet Singh Chib, Gagan Deep, Sunil Sharma, Rahul Kalsi and Manny Gupta.
