NDKM honours Rajesh Raja

JAMMU, May 4: Nav Durga Kala Manch (NDKM) honoured Rajesh Raja- a music composer and singer in a function held at K L Saigal Hall Jammu for completing 300 Punjabi Albums as a Music director.
On This occasion, Ayodhya Gupta, BJP President Jammu West was the chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion Shashi Bhushan, Chief Organiser NDKM, stated that the son of the soil Rajesh Raja, hailing from Pouni Chak Jammu, after doing his B-Music worked with Nav Durga Kala Manch as a Musician and singer and later on shifted to Punjab in thrust of becoming a music director where under the able guidance of his elder brother Dev Dildar, a renowned sufi singer, established his own recording studio.
Rajesh Raja has recorded the Voice of famous Bollywood and Punjabi singers like Sadhna Sargam, Sonu Kakkar, Sayra Khan, Sudesh Kumari, Miss Pooja, Harleen Akhter, Feroz Khan, Durga Rangeela, Manjeet, Satnam Saini and Sufi Singer Dev Dildar.
He has also recorded more than 50 NRIs including Gavi Dhillo, Jind Bath from England, Pappa Sandal, Sukhvinder Ghoman, Virk Ranjeet and Satnam Virk etc. from Canada.
Rajesh Raja has also given music to Punjabi Movies-Jatt in Mood, Junoon Ek Soch and countless commercial adds. Overall he has recorded more than 300 singers among which 50 are female singers. Presently his album ‘Mera Yaar’ sung and composed by him  is running successfully in Punjab and is being telecast in Punjabi channels.
Amit Manhas, Jasvir Singh, Prof Tilak Raj Sharma, Gian Chand Dogra also spoke on the occasion. Chief guest, Ayodhya Gupta in his speech congratulated Rajesh Raja for his successful carrier as a singer and musician and asked him to compose dogri songs for which he is ready to give any sort of help. Aditya Bhanu, Director NDKM presented Vote of thanks.
