NDP(I) appoints Rajesh as J&K president

JAMMU, Nov 25: National Democratic Party (Indian) today appointed Rajesh Gupta as party’s State president.
The appointment was made by National president of the party, Sandeep Turki, during a party function held today here at Jambulochan Hall.
While addressing the gathering, Rajesh Gupta said that people of Jammu and Kashmir have made a mind-set which limited the State from National Conference to People’s Democratic Party or from Congress to BJP but the time has come when people should change this trend and give chance to new faces and people for the betterment of the State.
Deliberating over delivery system, Gupta said that every region is facing discrimination but if NDP(I) comes to power it would not let discrimination to happen but equal development of three regions would be ensured.
Rajesh Gupta said that every household should have at least one person as Government employee so that it is ensured that family would not face starvation. “Our Government will ensure that every family must have one person as Government employee. Safety and security of women should be our top priority,” he added.
