NDPI opposes installation of more toll plazas

JAMMU, June 20: National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI) J&K has opposed the installation of more toll plazas in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement, NDPI J&K UT President Rajesh Gupta has said that installation of new toll plazas in Jammu and Kashmir is not in the interest of the common masses and will put extra financial burden on them.
Gupta stated that the BJP remained mute spectator and not uttered even a single word over the installation of new toll plazas at Lakhanpur and on Jammu-Akhnoor highway.
He expressed concern over the way the Toll Plazas are being installed in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The installation of the toll plazas is a deliberate attempt to the put the financial burden on the middle class, he added.
