JAMMU, Aug 9: An audio-video version of devotional Shabad ‘Ik Kadi Na Milte’ was released today at Waheguru Niwas, Sidhra (Jammu), by Nami Dogra Sanstha (NDS).
The ‘Shabad’ was released by chief guest, Tarlok Singh Batra in the presence of Puran Singh Gandhi and other dignitaries. It has been produced by Nisha Bharti and is sung by Parvinder Singh in his melodious voice. The music has been rendered by Naresh while videography has been done by K K Malhotra.
The Devotional ‘SHABAD’ is “Majj Maha Panjjama Chopade Ghar Pehla”. The theme of ‘Shabad’ is that “My soul is thirsty and utterly dissatisfied without Darshan of my Guru. The Place is very great where my Guru resides and his absence is painful”.
Yash Pal Yash, general secretary, Nami Dogra Sanstha, conducted the proceedings of the function. Prof Anupama Sharma (patron, Youth Wing NDS), Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila (president NDS) and Capt Lalit Sharma (convener NDS) were also present in the auspicious ceremony.
On the occasion, Parvinder Singh was conferred with “Sangeet Shri Sammaan” by NDS.
Speaking on the occasion, Tarlok Singh Batra, said that “SEVA” is pivotal Philosphy of Sikhism and every disciple of “Waheguru” is committed to this.
Puran Singh Gandhi, in his address, said that Sikhism teaches love and service for humanity, sacrifice for the noble cause and adherence to the philosophy of “Sant-Sapahi” and these teachings are perfectly relevant for all times .
Yash Pal Yash said that “Gurbani” has universal appeal of peace, brotherhood and love. Capt Lalit Sharma said that life and teachings of “Gurus” is treasure and strength of our society in both materialistic and spiritual terms.
