JAMMU, Dec 29: Nami Dogri Sanstha (NDS) here today organised a programme ‘Safar-e-Shahdat: Vishesh Shahidi Samagam’ at Gurudwara Shri Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji to remember the supreme sacrifices of four Sahibzades of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
The programme featured Gurbani by Parvinder Singh with his group along with Kulpreet Kour’s melodious voice which enhanced the devotional aura of the event. They were accompanied by Chander Dhari Kesar on Violin and Harpreet Singh on Tabla.
The gathering saw the participation of Dogra Harish Kaila, president NDS and Prof. Anupama Sharma, patron NDS, presided over the event while Yash Pal Yash, general secretary, played key roles in the proceedings.
Eminent singer Jetinder Kour, Achhar Singh and cultural activist, Davinder Bakshi were among the dignitaries present on the occasion.
Speaking at the event, Dogra Harish Kaila highlighted the need to preserve and promote the teachings of Gurus and their sacrifices.
The programme ‘Safar-e-Shahdat’ concluded with prayers for peace and universal harmony, leaving the attendees deeply moved and inspired.
