NEC meeting of ABVP from June 7-9 in Surat

JAMMU, May 27: The National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of ABVP is going to be held from 7 to 9 June in Surat, Gujarat.
This was disclosed by State secretary of ABVP, Akshi Billowria while addressing media persons, here today. She was accompanied by NEC member Chahat Anand, State joint secretary Sannak Shrivats and Mahanagar secretary Arman Khajuria.
“ABVP representatives across the country are going to participate in this NEC and likewise, delegates from Jammu and Kashmir are also going to participate in the meeting and put forward the issues of the UT in the meeting,” Billowria added.
She further revealed that ABVP State Review and Planning meeting concluded at Bhaderwah on 24 May. She said in the meeting, all full-timers, SWC members and all district conveners of ABVP across the State participated and reviewed the previous year’s work and decided on the upcoming events and prepared the road map for the expansion of the organizational work. North organizing secretary Vijay Pratap was also present.
During the meeting, Billowria said, ABVP decided that this year the membership campaign would be conducted in three phases. In the first phase, school membership will be run. In the second phase, college and university membership will be done and in the third phase, professional institute membership will be run.
She said ABVP also decided that this year many health related campaigns will be conducted in the entire province and focus will be on women’s health.
