JAMMU, Mar 6: Demanding their regularization, Need Based Workers of Irrigation Department today held a protest demonstration, here today.
Led by Tej Bahadur Singh, the protesting workers raised slogans in support of their demand and against the Government.
While addressing the protest demonstration, Tej Bahadur Singh said that these workers have been rendering services to the department for more than seven years but the Government was not treating them daily wagers. He demanded that these workers be regularized on humanitarian grounds.
