NEW DELHI, June 27:
There is a need to clear the pollution of corruption from the system, besides clearing air and water pollution, Union Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Harsh Vardhan said here today.
Addressing the inaugural session of the 62nd Conference of Chairman and Member Secretaries of Pollution Control Boards/Committees, Dr Vardhan made a strong pitch for embedding Information Technology(IT) into pollution control regime to enhance transparency and efficiency in an effort to contain and mitigate pollution.
He said the use of IT will ensure better compliance as well as enhance the interaction and outreach between various stakeholders. (PTI)
