JAMMU, Apr 27: Kuldeep Kumar Rao, an active member of Movement for Peace Equality & Justice (MPEJ) in a press statement issued here has appealed to the entire public of J&K Union Territory to not get misled by the statements of all the traditional political parties, who are responsible for this poor health system in erstwhile J&K in general and all rural districts of J&K UT in particular.
“There are insufficient health facilities available in Government Hospitals in J&K in general and all rural districts of J&K UT in particular, due to which most of the patients are referred to Jammu or Srinagar or other states of the country for special treatment which the poor people cannot afford,” Mr Rao said, adding whether it was not the need of the hour to educate and aware the masses of erstwhile J&K against the ongoing selfish, pseudo-secular and opportunistic approach of so-called leaders of different political parties and other outfits in order to create an atmosphere of faith, brotherhood and sympathy among the state residents belonging to different regions and religions?
He said that no Hindu, Muslim, Bodh, Sikh or Christian is safe in this corrupt and caste based political system and it was the prime duty of every responsible citizen of J&K Union Territory to work cohesively irrespective of caste, colour, creed, region or religion to expose all the traditional political parties who are responsible of all evils in the country.
He further said that the pseudo- secularism, pseudo-nationalism and pseudo- development of all these Parties having resorted to unprecedented corruption, nepotism, mis-governance, have nothing to show to the people other than so called Secularism & Nationalism. Mr Rao has also conveyed greetings to all the Muslim brothers of J&K UT on the eve of Holy month of Ramadan and hoped that it will bring peace & prosperity to the people of the country.
He also appealed to the entire public to follow the Govt guidelines strictly by staying at home, maintaining social distancing and washing hands frequently, in order to combat pandemic.
He also urged upon the Government to take stern action against the violators irrespective of any social or political affiliation of the violator.
Mr Rao further said that the politicians have not yet learned any lesson from pandemic and were yet playing politics in COVID-19, which is very dangerous for the poor people of all religions.
