Need to strengthen armed forces: Sethi

Jammu, Feb 24: Taking stock of situation arisen after JNU incidence of seditious slogans and escalated violence in Kashmir, Chief Spokesperson Bharatiya Janata Party J&K Sunil Sethi today said that situation require in depth enquiry and formulation of strategy to deal with new threat which has come across nation .
He said in the wake of escalation of violence in valley which has taken life of young soldiers the demand of revocation of AFSPA even partially has to be viewed seriously as it is time to strengthen the resolve of nation to fight anti national forces and to also by strengthening the armed forces further.
Sunil Sethi further noted that links of persons involved in JNU episode with forces inimical to national interest both inside and outside country has to be worked meticulously and everybody involved in the process should be exposed and tried under law of land. The call records of all persons involved should be checked to find links with conspirators to do complete justice.
He further called upon all nationalistic forces to join together in the interest of nation and rise above political and religious and regional affiliation to defeat the enemies of peace and stability . The nation is passing through difficult times with threats looming from all sides and only way to stand strong is to stand together in the service of motherland. He further appreciated the sacrifices made by defence and paramilitary forces in the cause of nation.
