JAMMU, Mar 2: Neeraj Chopra, a well-known businessman from Ward 53, Trikuta Nagar in Bahu constituency, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) along with his supporters. This programme was organised by BJP Trikuta Nagar Mandal in which Neeraj Chopra joined BJP along with his supporters in the presence of former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria, district president, Jammu South Rekha Mahajan, corportor, Ajay Gupta and other senior BJP activists.
Former Dy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta welcomed Neeraj Chopra and his supporters and said that taking membership of BJP was the right decision for them.
Speaking on the occasion, former Deputy Mayor and senior BJP leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria said that this is an important development which shows that the confidence and attraction towards BJP has increased among the businessmen. It is a social and political signal that provides support to the policies and functionality of the Government. He said that today the senior leaders of the Congress party are saying derogatory things about industrialists and businessmen, which is clearly visible in their anger.
He said that this decision of businessman Neeraj and his supporters, who have taken membership of BJP, reflects their ideology and patriotism.
He further said that BJP is the only party where officials are made democratically and responsibility is given on the basis of their work. Billawaria said that the way the Modi Government has brought the country to the world stage today is a matter of pride for every Indian.
District Jammu South president, Rekha Mahajan said that the respect of women is safe only in BJP. She said that the BJP takes care of everyone, whereas this is not the case in other parties. Bharatiya Janata Party is the largest political party in the world today.
Neeraj Chopra said he joined BJP because he was inspired by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and his working style to contribute to the development of the country and help build a better future for all Indians.
