Neeraj Kundan appointed AICC Secy

JAMMU, Aug 30: Neeraj Kundan, former National president of NSUI and a youth Congress leader from Jammu has been appointed as All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary by the Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge.

An order in this regard was issued by the AICC General Secretary (Org), K C Venugopal today after approval by the party President. Kundan was given the responsibility as AICC Secretary (Co-Incharge, Organisation). Two other AICC Secretaries appointed Co-incharge (Org) are- Netta D’Souza from Gujarat and Naveen Sharma from Delhi.
Congress president also appointed AICC Secretaries/ Joint Secretaries for several other states and Union Territories.
Hailing from a small village Malley Kothe in Arnia (Bishnah), near Indo-Pak border, Neeraj started his journey as College president of NSUI and reached to the position of National president of NSUI and now given this responsibility for his capabilities and dedication. He expressed his gratitude to AICC president Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, LOP Rahul Gandhi and AICC general secretary (Organisation), KC Venugopal for this opportunity.
AICC chief also inducted another secretary, Divya Maderna and given her responsibility as co-incharge J&K and Ladakh. Manoj Yadav has also been re-inducted as Secretary, co-incharge J&K and Ladakh. Divya is a former MLA hailing from Jodhpur in Rajasthan while Yadav hails from Delhi.
It is pertinent to mention here that Congress leader Shahnawaz Choudhary from Surankote in Poonch has already been inducted as AICC Secretary and made co-incharge of Odisha State. AICC general secretary and former Union Minister, Bharatsinh Solanki is the Incharge, J&K and Ladakh at present.
