Neglected tourist spots

Sir,
Due to turmoil in the recent past our tourism industry has suffered a lot. Now for the last few years the tourism is on the rise in the state . we  hope that tourism flourish day by day so that J&K be like Switzerland of the world again.
There are many  unexplored tourist spots in Jammu division which need to be developed and looked after by the concerned top administration on priority. These spots are in Bhaderwah, Kishtwar and Chenab valley area of Doda district. Also Mansar and Surinsar, Dalsar lakes, area of dudu Basantgarh and many areas of  Ramnagar tehsil.
Besides there is great scope for religious tourism. These religious places, however, lack proper attention by the Tourism Department of the State. Even basic necessities like mast lights , proper road connectivity and maintenance of parks lacks proper attention of the  higher ups. Famous Kailash Kund the abode of Lord Vasuki Naag Ji in Bhaderwah tehsil need attention on priority. The natural spots like Mansar, Surinsar and Dalsar lakes are not given proper attention too with the result, tourists are not attracted to these areas.
The agenda for development of these areas used to be discussed many times in Cabinet, Board meetings under the chairmanship of the  Chief Minister but even then what is the reason that these spots lack basic necessities.
Lack proper presentation to the world by the tourism authorities. Tourists visiting our state go directly to Kashmir and Ladakh neglecting Jammu. Why is it so? The head of state should pay attention to it in the interest of the  State. Tourism in Jammu division should be given top priority and the tourist spots should be developed on urgent basis as this is the need of the hour.
Yours etc……
Kaushal Kotwal,
Jammu
