JAMMU, Oct 4: Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has promoted 22 officers of Indian Information Service (IIS) including Neha Jalali (presently posted in RoB Jammu) to Junior Administrative Grade (JAG) as Joint Directors in different units.
Besides Neha Jalali, other IIS officers who have been promoted include Ahmad Muyeen Farooqui presently posted at Regional Outreach Bureau (RoB) Shillong, Amit Kumar, presently posted at Bureau of Outreach & Communication (BoC) New Delhi, Rajith Chandran (presently posted at M R, PIB Delhi but working in IIMC Kottayam on loan basis), V Parvathy (RO, CBFC Thiruvananthapuram), Nitin M Kelkar (AIR, Pune), Yasmeen Farooqui (DDK Lucknow), Anshuman Mishra (PB Correspondent, Beijing), Rituraj (PMO New Delhi) and Arvind Kumar Jain (PIB, New Delhi).
Promotes also include Nadeem Tufail T (PIB Chennai), Shweta Singh (DDK Patna), Vinod Kumar (DV, PIB, Panaji), Ramani Kant Sarma (DDK Guwahati), Suresh Kumar Gedala (on deputation to AP Government), Mayusha (AM, AIR Thiruvananthapuram), M Leela Meenatchi (RO, CBFC Chennai), Dipannita Dhar (DPR Defence, Kolkata), Sooraj R (PIB Thiruvananthapuram), Saraswati S Kuwalekar (DDK Mumbai), Madhu R Sekhar (RoB Bhopal) and Sudhir Singh (DD News, New Delhi).
