JAMMU, Nov 5: Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP MP from Jammu- Poonch Lok Sabha Constituency along with former minister, Chander Prakash Ganga & Devinder Kumar Manyal and senior leaders of BJP visited village Bari Brahmana, Kalagate, Birjani, Meen Sarkar, Meen Chadkan, Smailpur, Kheedian,
Paati, Rehal, Sadoh, Gangwala, Pangdour,Bain,Glar and Raipur in Vijaypur & Samba Constituency today while leading the Gandhi Sankalp yatra.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that “Gandhi Sankalp Yatra” is nationwide programme launched by the party to walk 10-15 kilometers per day on foot to visit more than eight villages to spread the ideology and pro people programmes launched by Mahatma Gandhi. He said Gandhi Sankalp Yatra’s main motive is to increase the growth of “Make in India” and to propogate Swachhta to make India Clean.
He said that yatra will also help in taking message to every nook and corner to stop use of single use plastic. He said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is working on the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi and to rid the society of social evils. Samrasta programmes organized in between the yatra is to spread the message of equality between the masses so that there is no discrimination and hatred on the basis of region, religion and caste.
Sharma said that Mahatma Gandhi was a great freedom fighter and his journey of life was wholly dedicated to the nation. He also added that Gandhi Ji and Sardar Patel had to face the conspiracy of Jawahar Lal Nehru and Jinnah’s selfish politics which gave them a great set back. Both the leaders showed lot of patience and gave sacrifice so that India should remain united. He also said that if Sardar Patel would have been Prime Minister of Independent India under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi then there would have been no PoK and the State would have not been divided into parts.
Chander Parkash Ganga former Minister said that Gandhi Sankalp Yatra launched with a theme to outreach the programmes and initiatives of Central Government among the masses. Ganga and another former Minister, Devinder Kumar Manyal both greeted Member of Parliament who led this Yatra in Vijaypur Constituency & Samba Constituency.
District president BJP, Jangbir Singh Chiku and senior party leaders, Jai Sharma, Subash Bhagat, Omkar Padha, Sanjeev Padha, Mohinder Bikka,Yuva Narinder, Madan Choudhary, Mohan Thapa, Naresh Sharma, BDC Chairman Ramesh, Kamlesh, MC Chairman Pawan, Mandal presidents, Randhir Sharma, Amit Dubey, Sanjeev Kumar, Sarpanchs and Panchs also joined Member of Parliament during this Yatra.
