BHADERWAH, Nov 18: The modesty of a minor girl of 12 years of age was outraged by her neighbour here today.
Bhaderwah Police has registered a case in this regard under FIR No 191/2013 under Sections 376, 452 RPC on the basis of a written complaint by the father of the victim.
A police spokesman said that the father of the victim in his application said that one Manish Kumar Kotwal aged 34, S/o Parkash Kotwal of Kharoti Bhaderwah entered into his house when his daughter was alone and her parents were in the field. He outraged the modesty of the girl and after committing the crime threatened her that he will kill the entire family if she disclosed this to her parents.
The spokesman said however the girl narrated the entire story to her parents on their return. Her parents went to the house of Kotwal but he was not there and on their return to their home they saw him in a nullah where from he too managed to escape after seeing the parents of the girl. The parents registered a case with PS Bhaderwah and the girl was taken to Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah for medical examination which confirmed the crime.
