Neuro Linguistic Programming workshop gets underway at JU

JAMMU, Oct 8: A two day workshop on Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) for the students of MBA-International Business and the MBA students of the Kathua Campus began at Seminar Hall of  Computer Science and IT Department, University of Jammu, here.
The workshop is being organized by the International Centre for Cross Cultural Research and Human Resource Management (ICCCR and HRM) in collaboration with The Management School at Kathua Campus.
Marcus Dare from Randstad India Limited, Chennai is the lead trainer.

While speaking in the opening session, Marcus Dare said that Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) is an approach to communication, personal development, and psychotherapy  founded by Richard Bandler and John Grinder.
He further said that NLP is used for personal development and for success in business, adding that it is the practice of understanding how people organize their thinking, feeling, language and behaviour to produce the results they do.
“The key element of NLP is that we form our unique internal mental maps of the world as a product of the way we filter and perceive information absorbed through our five senses from the world around us,” Marcus informed.
