New AoI Gangyal team takes over charge

JAMMU, Nov 19: The new team of Association of Industries (AoI), Gangyal, Jammu led by its president Virendra Jain today took over charge of the Association.
The newly elected president and other office bearers were felicitated in the office of the Association by other members/ industrialists during taking over ceremony at Gangyal. They have been elected for the two years term of 2024-26.
The election of the Association for six posts was held on November 16. Virendra Jain has been elected as new president of the Association for two years’ term. SB Abrol is new senior vice president, Sandeep Ohri -vice president, Sanjay Langar- general secretary, Ajay Mahajan- secretary while Jatinder Singh is new treasurer of the Association.
All the elected office bearers fully appreciated the efforts of the previous team of office bearers led by Tejwant Singh Reen, the outgoing president of the Association.
Virendra Jain assured the members of the Association that no stone shall remain unturned to represent their problems and woes not only of the members of the Association but the entire community of local Micro & Small scale entrepreneurs in the entire Region in right perspective before the concerned authorities.
Jain further assured the members that acute problems faced by the local industrialists towards marketing of their products specially in Govt Departments/ Agencies shall be addressed on top most priority, seeking the rightful intervention of the J&K Govt and its functionaries. He appreciated that the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on his very first visit to Jammu accorded topmost priority to interact with representatives of the Industrial sector to have first hand account of the current plight this section for initiating corrective measures at the Govt level.
He assured to seek the valuable advise of the senior members of the Association in right earnest to run the day to day affairs of the Association.
