SRINAGAR, Dec 9: Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari today expressed hope that the new entrants will further strengthen the party at grass root level and aware the public of its policies.
He was speaking during a party function during which prominent political workers including three Panchayat representatives from district Kulgam joined the Apni Party at its office in Lal Chowk, Srinagar.
Bukhari asked the new entrants to extend their full cooperation to the Apni Party in getting the problems of their areas resolved. “In Apni Party we all work as a team to address the sufferings of people in a proactive manner. I hope that you all will work unitedly to redress the problems and miseries of people in your respective areas besides working for strengthening the Party cadre base at the grassroots level,” Bukhari remarked.
The political workers who joined the Apni Party include Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat (Panch Waripora), Waseem Ahmad Mir (Panch Masjidpora), Nisar Ahmad Palla (Panch Palpora), Imtiyaz Ahmad Nayak, Wajahat Hussain Bhat, Abdul Rashid Nayak, Waseem Ahmad Nayak, Sajad Ahmad Nayak, Muzaffar Ahmad Nayak, Abdul Hamid Wani and Abdul Rashid Wani.
The new entrants to the Apni Party observed that they were convinced with the developmental agenda of the Party and its pro-people approach adopted to mitigate their sufferings.
The joining ceremony took place in presence of senior vice president Ghulam Hassan Mir, provincial president Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir, state secretary and district president Budgam Muntazir Mohi-ud-Din and party leaders Dr Samiullah, Muzaffar Reshi and Imran Ahmad.
