JAMMU, July 6: New India Assurance Company Limited adopted village Chinore near Bantalab under CSR initiative and donated 25 desks for students, a water cooler and laid the tiles on floor of school.
The function was inaugurated by Dr SL Khosa, Deputy General Manager, Dr RK Duggal, Chief Manager at HO Mumbai and Suman Gupta, Senior Divisional Manager Jammu DO-II. RK Bhasin, AO (D) and Pawan Sharma, Development Officer, Yogeshwar Kumar from New India Assurance Company Limited, Sonal Maini, Principal of the Government Middle School Chinore, Sohan Lal, Panch of village and other villagers were also present on the occasion.
Dr SL Khosa, appraised the villagers about Company’s profile, whereas Dr RK Duggal, said that company spends 2 per cent of its profit money under CSR.
Suman Gupta, emphasized that company understands the importance of good education, clean environment and surroundings as well and this is just a beginning and many more initiatives will follow under Company’s CSR policy.
