JAMMU, Apr 26: J&K Criminal Law (Amendment) Ordinance approved on Tuesday by the State Cabinet will go long way to ensure that no Rassana like case happens again.
This was stated by senior PDP leader, Dr Mehboob Beg, in a statement issued here today. He said this strong law for convicts of sexual crimes against women, particularly against minor girls, would serve as a deterrent. He also expressed hope that the executing agencies will execute this law in letter and spirit.
The PDP leader further said that Mehbooba Mufti Government also fulfilled its promise made with with the employees of the State by implementing 7th Pay Commission due to which lakhs of employees will get huge monetary benefits. He said now onus to work harder with dedication and devotion lies with the employees.
