New managing committee of Vridh Ashram elected

JAMMU, Oct 27: New managing committee of Home for the Aged and Inform, Ambphalla Jammu, popularly known as the Vridh Ashram, was unanimously elected today for a three-year term with Vidya Nath Gupta as the president and Er Vijay Kumar Bhagotra as secretary.
In view of the untiring services towards welfare of the inmates for the last two decades, the outgoing president Dwarka Nath Gupta was nominated as patron-in-chief of the Home.
The new managing committee was elected during annual general meeting of the Home, wherein annual report and audited accounts for the year 2012-13 were presented by the secretary.
Joint secretary Er B B Gupta and members of the managing committee, including I D Soni, Shahsi Khajuria, H S Manhas, Keemti Lal Dubey and Vijay Gupta also attended the AGM.
