KATHUA, Jan 3: Chief General Manager, State Bank of India (SBI), Local Head Office Chandigarh, Anukool Bhatnagar today inaugurated the new premises of SME Industrial Estate Kathua Branch.
He was accompanied by Binod Kumar Mishra, General Manager; Ajitav Prashar, Deputy General Manager (SBI Head J&K and Ladakh UT); Vinod Dhar, Regional Manager and Branch Manager, Rahul Dhar.
Talking to reporters Bhatnagar said the new branch is a reincarnation of the existing SBI branch but with a new focus to deliver financial products and services to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) of district Kathua.
“This branch has been opened in anticipation of upcoming industrial policy of the UT and proposed industrial areas in Kathua,” he informed adding that the staff posted at the branch is highly trained in handling the needs of SME businesses.
Bhatnagar requested the local business community of Kathua to give an opportunity to SBI to serve them with best of class financial products with most competitive prices and interest rates.
He said that SBI is the largest bank of India and it has financial might to sanction any loan irrespective of the amount.
