JAMMU, June 16: A&A Company has come up with a new restaurant under the name and style ‘Baba Chicken’ at Marble Market, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Baba Chicken is the well known for its delicious recipes and invention of Butter Chicken and Tandoori Chicken. In 1964, Sardar Harnam Singh started a business for selling cooked chicken by the name of ‘Red Com’ at very first outlet located adjoining Society Cinema, Ludhiana. He later became a well known personality for his recipes and the art of cooking. As he was very old, people who used to come to his outlet to eat chicken, called him ‘Baba Ji’ and thus the name ‘Baba Chicken’ came in light.
The restaurant has a well maintained capacity of 60 covers and is providing more than 90 items in its menu which include Tandoori Chicken, Haryali Chicken, Reshmi Chicken, Mutton Seekh Kabab, Tandoori Fish, Baba Butter Chicken, Baba Butter Meat, Baba Butter Fish, pickles of chicken, fish and mutton and for veg it is Cheese Tikka, Baba Butter Cheese and many more to munch.
It is worthwhile to mention here that the promoters of the company are in the hospitality industry from last two decades. One of the partners, Deepkaran Singh Anand is the COO of Trans Asia Hotels Private Limited, who owns the prestigious Hotel Asia, Jammu and Anand Farms, a luxury banquet hall at Vijaypur while second partner, Charanjot Singh is running a pharmaceutical company.
